Adobe Agreement
• Departments
Mason has signed an agreement that allows departments to purchase Adobe software licenses
at the lowest available cost offered. This agreement requires that we meet an annual volume goal.
Departments may forward a purchase requisition to Patriot Computers.

We have signed the Adobe Student license agreement. These products
are available
to Mason students, currently accepted or enrolled in
class at Mason. Exceptional
savings on selected products.

Mason has signed an agreement that allows all faculty, staff and students to use the EndNote

Campus Agreement has products for Use on Mason
Owned Equipment. These currently include:

- OS Upgrade/Downgrade rights
Call Desktop
Support Services to have these products installed or you may purchase media
from Patriot Computers. (~$30). Media and serial numbers used on campus
owned equipment may not be used at home for WAH.
Products
for doing Work At Home (WAH):
The above list of software titles are available to Mason employees who do Work at Home 9WAH). Employees must be doing legitimate work at home and are restriced to Mason ID's that are Facutly, Staff or Wages. Affiliates, Contract and other ID holders are not eligible for WAH. Employees do not own the software but have rights to use it for work at home while employeed at Mason. This software must be removed from your computer when you leave Mason or are no longer performing
work duties at home.
Media can be purchased for a nominal fee. Note - the physical CD's and serial numbers are different than the ones used on Mason owned equipment. Media used for Campus systems can not be used at home. Appropriate

Symantec Antivirus Software
The University has executed
a license agreement with Symantec for Antivirus Software. This software
is available to students, faculty and staff for their personal systems.
The software will be available for download or media can be purchased from
Patriot Comptuers.
The download process takes 3-4 hours at 56K baud rate. The files have been compressed to apx. 13MB. If you would like to download the software go to download Norton.
If you would prefer to have a CD copy you can purchase the media for a nominal service charge of
$9.99 from Patriot Computers. If you would like to have it mailed to your house give us a call and
we will be happy to send it out. (shipping charges are additional) If you have questions you can send

SAS
Mason has a site license for SAS that is cooperatively purchased by departments. The SAS desktop product may be used by Students if they are enrolled in a class using SAS. Students can get a copy of SAS for desktops from Patriot Computers. There are several pages of documentation to sign and their is NO support available to the end user. The current user fee is $99 and is prorated over the year (June - July) . There are a limited number of licenses available.
If you are a faculty member and wish to have copies available for your class at the beginning of the term, please let us know your class count as early as possible. We maintain limited copies of the media for distribution.
